Week 16: 525,600 Minutes!
Oh my. I finished my freshman year. I've got my license. I have my own vehicle, AND a job! Jeffrey and I are still stronger than ever. Ohhh, the list could go on and on. But, I think the best thing that happened was getting my license. Thanks to my parents, I have an 08 Blue Impalla. (Thanks!) And along with the assistance of my mother, I now have a job! I work about 4-5 times a week. It feels so good to have you own car and your own vehicle. It's an even better feeling to receive a paycheck with MY name on it! I also have my own bank account with a debit card. In a way I feel a bit more independent and it''s an awesome feeling!
Week 15: Who Stole The Snow
I'm loud and clumsy so I wouldn't be applicable to go find the whether machine. It's already Saturday, December 12th, (yes I'm waiting last minute to do my blogs.) SATURDAY? THE 12TH! OF DECEMBER?! And we have no snow! I love the winter. Okay, maybe not the cold cold whether. But I LOVEEE snow and I couldn't image a Christmas without snow. It wouldn't even feel like Christmas! The spirit would die out! I would nominate Evan J, Cody Gray, and Ethan Zulz to go find the Wheather Machine and save Christmas!! I'm sure the job would get accomplished with these 3!
Week 14: Dancing on the ceiling
If there was no longer gravity on earth what would I do? Hahah. I think it would be fun for while, but eventually die out and get irritating. I would have so much fun in the air. I would do summersaults and cartwheels mid air. I feel like I would get light headed which would probaboly become a problem, along with, I'm sure, a headache as well. It would be frustrating trying to eat. And drinking? Impossible! How would I even manage to sleep? I would have to be tied down to something which would be so uncomfortable. I don't even want to think about the struggle of going to the bathroom!
Week 13: OMNONONONM Food!
There are only three things I look forward to on Thanksgiving and those are mashed potatoes, ham, and pumpkin pie (with LOADS of whipped cream on it.) Mashed potatoes are probably my favorite holiday meal. I prefer my Grandma Chris's and then Jeffrey's moms potatoes. I'm most certainly not a turkey girl. Ham all the way! My FAV desert is defiantly Pumpkin Pie, closely followed by Fruit cake, (which is like a cooking bottom with a frosting and fruit all over it.) And at the end of the day I look forward to eating at Christmas! What is your favorite desert?
Week 12: Thank A Wallflower
I'm pretty sure when you read this title you'll automatically know who I'm writing about! Jeffrey Lee Gray <3 It sounds kind of cheesy probably, but these past 2 years he's always been here for me. He's changed his life around and now our relationship is stronger than ever. I've never met a guy at his age that is as responsible and mature as he is. Jeffrey is always there for me, no matter what. He's faithful, honest, and loving. I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend. I love you so much Jeffrey Lee Gray and I'm so thankful to have you in my life<33

Week 11: Behind The Hamper
One day I was cleaning Jeffrey's room and I decided to look behind Jeffrey's hamper. What at first seemed like an awful ideal turned into quite an adventure.. I took a look behind there and saw some sort of trap door. I, of course, opened it. The door led to a path with a bulletin board with a notice posted on it. It read: "Ahead lies special puzzles, and if they are completed, leads to the sacred kitten nursery." WHAT. All my life I've wanted a kitten. Jeffrey has repeatedly told me he completely despises of them. Yet he has a KITTEN NURSERY?

Week 10: Cool Costume, Bro!
I knock on the door..and you guessed it! I'm forever a kitten. I have no powers..or so I think. I have become what I was pretending to be. And since I couldn't have a kitten, why not remain one? I pounce down the steps and kill a mouse while I make my way towards the young lady around the block. She had become very sick and come midnight she would lose her life. I pawed at her door and she came, rolling in her wheelchair, to the door. She opened the door and I entered her home. Instantly, her age faded away, the wrinkles were gone. The old lady was revived and as long as I accompanied her she would be eternal forever.

Week 9: Honey, I shrunk my students
Ms. Hudson shrinks us down. Not surprising, right? In all honestly, our class is pretty much immature which means that nothing would get accomplished and we would all remain tiny forever. But..if that weren't the case, I would gather every one up, and assuming that we were tiny as ants, we would make our way up to the white board. Slowly, but carefully, we would find a small tipped expo marker. Working together, we would take the cap off and write on the white board : "HELP! You've shrunken us! -your 8th hour English class" Hudson doesn't even read the board and leaves us all to die. We get washed away when Kenton cleaned the whiteboards that night.

Week 8: Explaining Science..Sort Of
Emily skipped up to the house, once again with a handful of worms she dug out of the dirt. "Silly girl, don't play with worms. Act like a lady. Mary take your sister to the prairie and show her the flowers. Help her pick a bouquet and bring them back to the house."
Rose
Daisy
Dandelion
Sunflower
Tulip
Iris
Lily
Daffodil
Flowers were created to show beauty. Flowers were created so young girls had something to resemble them from. Boys are looked upon as rough, loud, destructive, gross..worms. Yeah, that's a what a boy is. Thing of a flower. Pretty, colorful, innocent, sweet smelling, and pleasant. That's what a girl is.

Week 7: What A Fright!
This past summer I took a family vacation down to Florida! We were about 3 days in and on that Tuesday morning I woke up feeling just fine. I got up, went to use the restroom and was making my way back to my room to put my retainers back in their case. I felt groggy and sleepy like any teenage girl would when they first woke up. Usually we ate bagels or something quick so we could get out shopping or on the beach but todaaay Andrea and my father had made eggs and sausage. I headed over to the counter to pour myself a mug of coffee and everything went black. (You know when you sit up to fast? Yeah, that kind of black. Except it went all black and I couldn't see ANYTHING. I was like "I feel dizzzy..". And just like that I woke up to Andrea over me saying "Kirsten, are you okay?" I had felt like I was sprinting and my eyebrow hurt. Andrea said I went pail as a ghost and that I had said I was going to go lay down because I felt dizzy. Before she could grab a hold of me I fell and whacked my head off the door frame. I had passed out from dehydration. It was really scary because that had never happened to me. For the next couple days everyone treated me like a baby which really irritated me. I made sure I stayed hydrated and drank LOTS of water. My eyes were REALLY bloodshot though and I was super tired that day. On our plane ride back home I woke up with a horrible headache. My eyes were bloodshot for about a week before they went away entirely. It was scary and somehow I managed to somehow not split my forehead open.

Week 6: I Want To Play A Game...
Shadow Hunters. Anybody seen it? I would be the first to get bit. I would mindlessly be walking home from Caseys and like an idiot decide to walk down a dark alley. The moment I stepped foot down the cold, damp, sketchy alley I would be done for. BAM. Just like that I would be bit and turned into a vamp or much worse, die. Or I could be the complete opposite. Like in Twilight.. Not a scary movie but still deals with Vampires. I would be Bella and would helplessly fall in love with Edward and end up having a half child. I would be the one to run away from my Father and tell him I was 'sick' trying to hide the fact that I was having Edward's, a vampire, child. Mmm..good thing I'm just a regular human being.

Week 5: My Heart Belongs At Hogwarts
I really find myself being drawn into the fictional world of Harry Potter. As silly as it seems, if I could live in a world like that I would definitely try to! I think I would hang around Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Hermione has the brains and who wouldn't want to be friends with the FAMOUS Harry Potter! Sneaking around inside Harry's invisibility clock sounds soo daring(; I think Harry Potter is one of my favorite book AND movie series! Quidditch seems extremely fun to play. Often times when I'm reading I can REALLY picture myself in the story! If I had to chose my favorite house it would HAVE to be Gryffindor(:

Week 4: Urban Legends
This isn't a creepy urban legend, but it's sort of comical. One day I was scrolling through my facebook feed and I happened to come across a video that showed two men drinking beer that contained helium. What?!! That one for sure made me think. We all know you can suck in helium and get a distorted voice..but now, now there is an alcoholic beverage that can do the same? I pondered that in my brain over and over again. Heck, there was even a video on it. I thought, how could it not be true? Haha, I know that everything I see on the internet isn't always true but this urban legend really had me believing it. I eventually looked it up on google and figured out that as cool as it sounds, no, helium filled beer is just an urban legend and is unfortunately not real.

Week 3: One Song
This is kind of hard for me to decide on. I love listening
to music. I have many songs that I can relate to situations and problems. But
if there was one song that comes to mind instantly, it's "Thinking Out
Loud" by Ed Sheeren. Jeffrey and I have had quite a past. I don't really
know if you consider it 'dating' in Junior High or not but we were together.
Obliviously things didn't last. We were just children with crushes. I can
happily say we got back together on September 27th, 2014. The reason this song
is so important to me is because during my first homecoming this song was
played. As you all know Jeffrey is redneck and silly and the last thing I
expected from him was to start singing to me. But, he did. It was the SWEETEST
thing ever. I especially like the line "and I'm thinking 'bout how people
fall in love in mysterious ways .." because I would have never
guessed that Jeffrey would be my man again at the beginning of my freshman
year, nor would I have ever imagined we would still be together a year later.
This song reflects on my relationship and I sure hope he'll be loving me until
he's 70 and on <3

Week 2: Bragging Rights
Hmm.. I don't really like this blog topic. I don't like to brag about myself because I've noticed that it annoys not just myself but so many other people. But..here we go. I CAN say I'm pretty good at volleyball. I've played volleyball since Middle School, 5th grade to be exact. I also started playing club out of Illinois Valley Central College for IVVP (Illinois Valley Volley Power.) My mind used to be set on playing college but I think I've changed my mind about that. I've played club for 4 years and I think I'm done with that. I'm a little worn out from playing year round for so long. When I was in the 6th grade I started on the 7th grade team and we lead our team to the first EVER for LW Junior High. We got State 7A Runner Up! During my 8th grade year we also went to state again. They were both amazing experiences. Again, I don't like bragging but we've got a pretty kick butt volleyball team and I'm proud of that.

Week 1: How's School??
I can't believe it is already my sophomore year! Freshman year flew by. Everyone is right.. High-school goes by quick so don't waste any of it! I could have used a few more weeks of vacation but I think I'm glad to be back. I'm participating in volleyball again and our first game is this Thursday. Before deciding my official schedule this year I probably changed my mind about 10 times haha.
1.) Spanish 2
2.) Algebra 2
3.) PE
4.) Chemistry
5.) Study hall (but I work Mrs Laible's office so she can go grab some lunch)
6.) Accounting
7.) Current Affairs/Illinois Govt.
8.) English 2
I think my easiest class will be Accounting. It's new but I think I'm catching on very quickly!! I most definitely think my hardest class will be Chemistry. This year I was lucky and got two classes with Jeffrey!<3 We are in Algebra 2 and PE together so that's exciting. I'm looking forward to Homecoming this year. I love getting all beautified up and wearing a fancy dress and some heels! But you know what I'm even MORE excited for?? PROM. Everybody says Homecoming is 'gay' and that Prom isn't much better. I disagree. I enjoy attending Homecoming. I'm a sophomore this year but Jeffrey is a Junior so he's taking me to Prom. Yay!! My birthday is on October 4th but due to when I could take Drivers Ed I won't get my license until the beginning of November. That's going to be a huge step for me! My parents bought me a car, which I'm EXTREMELY grateful for! Soon I will be filling out an application for Snyder Village. I'm excited for this year. There are so many things to look forward to! I hope this is another memorable year. I'm going to make the most of it. Here's to another school year, another year with groggy, coffee filled mornings, sports, fun, memories, laughs, tears, smiles, and love. Let's make it a good one.
